Dandy Burger in Espanola

It was below average. The Jim Dandy Burger is described as a big beef Patty burger. But it could almost qualify as vegetarian friendly.

Great burgers and the bandito and pochito awsome

Well ordered a Jungle Jim and a jim meal . Dry burgers and over cooked. Ordered all large drinks and paid for large drinks and got mediums cuz they said they are out of large tf. The Mexican food was alright a little crunchy. Drinks were not good. Giving 2 stars to be generous

They dont pay attention to what people's orders are giving wrong orders to people

Burgers are good but not $10 good.

The burgers were nothing special and the place wasn't very clean. We were hoping to find a lunch stop for our road trips, this wasn't it.

It's just not good and the people that take your order are all grumpy 🤮

I've been coming to this hometown, home made diner for years! The chili cheese fries (green, red or Christmas) are incredible and made with real, authentic New Mexico chili...not the canned stuff. Only 4 stars because the prices keep going up. An almost $8 burger, burger only? No thanks.

It's one of the best choices on this side of town. Kind of pricey but better than large restaurant chain.

The fries were good, the burger was just ok. It's a nice place to stop if you're just passing through Espanola.

It's got great food

Burgers are more bun and chopped lettuce than beef pattie; had to lift the top bun to check for the beef pattie. It's more of a $3.99 burger; not a $9.99 burger. Only reason for the 1star is the fries were decent.

Hadnt been to Dandy Burger in years, couldn't remember why I hadn't gone... well I remembered... Waited for over a half hour in drive through, waited because I was wedged between other cars. We finally got our food, waited to return home to eat it, and was extremely unhappy with the food. I ordered a red and green chili tewa taco. Both "chiles" tasted like Hormel.... this was why I hadn't eaten there. Will not be returning

Always good food. Try the tacos or the bandido. They also have the best charbroiled burgers. Thumbs up👍

Had a bad experience here at dandy burger. This was our first time eating here so we thought we would give it a try. My husband went in to order since we had our camper with us. First it took us 10-15 mins to get our food and when we left I was unwrapping my husband's burger and half of the patty was missing 😡. On the second burger there was no cheese as we asked for cheese, it was even on the receipt. We could had already left and did not want to go back because of our camper. Very disappointed and WILL NOT BE GOING BACK.

I loved going here for a breakfast burrito. Sadly the new owner discontinued breakfast and has changed their hours a bit. Food is still good and staff are great.

Would have got 5 stars except for the fact they took off the menu the best thing they had and that was the breakfast burritos. They were by far the best in new mexico. So stupid on there part. Maybe its just laziness.

This place is in espanola it's just a burger place but, some things on their menu are different for instance jungle Jim is a big burger with all the fixings but with bacon green chili and avocado/it's abit large so I usually get the jungle Jane. They also have a burrito called pochito which I like when I am not too hungry, it well you just have to try it.good eats

Absolutely horrible! They are just frozen burger patties and taste like it. DON'T waste your money here go somewhere else!! Not even kidding, me and my husband didn't even finish our burgers cause they tasted gross. The lady working the register was rude and took 15 min to get our food. Definitely not a fast food place.

Burger was ok. Green chilli stew was better

Place was very clean, very friendly and polite staff for being in Española. The burger i ordered was okay, nothing too exclusive or memorable.. just a regular burger place that also happens to serve NM cuisine such as enchiladas, taquitos, and a few vegan options as well👍

Awesome customer service great homemade hometown food!

They charge $12 for skinny pre-packaged frozen burger patty combo. I thought it would be home made - fresh off the grill and a banging good burger for that price, not the case. They didnt even grill them, they looked and tasted like they were microwaved. The food was so bad that after one bite I took it back and asked for a refund, which I received. The place is very dirty and rundown. We didn't notice until we sat down to wait on the food. The booths had crust and hair in between the cushions and the "cushions" were completely collapsed, it felt like I was sitting in a hole. The bathrooms were gross, worst than a buisy gas station. We love trying small and eclectic hole in the wall places, some of the best food I've tried come from small ma and pa restaurants. I would absolutely not recommend Dandy Burger to anyone with good sense and normal taste buds.

Wow, been to Dandy Burger twice in the same week, it's not the food, but the service from who took the order. Whatever her problem is should be addressed. The inability to be social, engaging,some type of personality traits might help further your business

Fries and shakes were delicious but burgers were mediocre at best.

Took 20 minutes to get our order. Then both were wrong. Then when they remade the burger it had a patty and mayo only. Will not return. Took another 10 minutes to remake

The food was okay. Seems to have lost some flavor since last I was here. Service was great. Cashier very nice. We had a bowl of green chili, couple of tacos that where made wrong and taquitos that very small in size. They did not have much filling inside of them. They where tasty. All food items where not for big eaters.

Used to be a great place with great food. The place was clean but food was disappointing. Deep fried taquitos and onion rings were over cooked and slightly burned.
